Today let us see how to make chicken stuffed Idli using leftover chicken curry. It's a very easy and simple recipe. Usually on Monday morning we do have leftover non-veg curry most of the time. Using those curries we can make easy and very simple breakfast recipes, that too kids special recipes. You can try with mutton curries as well but make sure you shred the pieces very well.
We can make either chicken stuffed idli or Kari dosai and many more.

Chicken Stuffed Idli Recipe

Ingredients Needed:
- Idly/Dosai Batter - 1 cup
- Shredded Chicken Pieces - 1 cup
Preparation:
- In the leftover chicken curry, we do have big sized chicken pieces, so shred it down so that we can stuff inside it.
Method:
- First pour 1 tbsp. of Idli batter and spread it.
- Next add 1 tbsp of shredded chicken pieces to the idli batter as shown in the picture.
- Pour another 1 tbsp of idli batter on top of the chicken pieces and spread the idli batter to cover the chicken curry.
- Cook these idlies for 10 to 15 minutes in Ildi streamer or pressure cooker.
- After 15 to 20 minutes, remove the idli plates and allow it to cool for 10 minutes.
- If you dont find time to cool down the idlies then sprinkle some water on top of it then remove using spoon.
- Remove the idlies from the idli plates.
- Stuffed chicken Idli is ready! Serve hot with chutneys or chicken curry or else you can eat very well alone.
